I discovered “Tie the Knot in Kirkland” at the perfect time. In September 2007 my fiancé and I had just discovered that our plans for a small, intimate wedding on the beach in California the following July were not going to work out and we were scrambling for an alternate plan. Planning a wedding was not something I was excited about doing. We just wanted to get married, and then have a big party afterward.
I stumbled across the “Tie the Knot in Kirkland” webpage while surfing the Internet for likely places to have the ceremony the next summer. When I read everything that the “Tie the Knot in Kirkland” team was offering, I was pretty interested, even though it would mean having the wedding in 5 months. So I talked to my fiancé, and we decided to do it.
I contacted Stacy Kvam of SK Wedding & Event Design and got the ball rolling. She was fantastic, the ease of the whole process was wonderful, and really left me with the time to do what I really wanted – plan a fabulous reception!
The Tie the Knot team gave us everything we needed: Heritage Hall for an incredible venue, an incredible harpist for the music; it was exactly what I wanted. Patty from Brittany Flowers is amazing; the flowers were gorgeous. She was so accommodating with the extras I needed, and everything was just perfect.
Bob Gassen from Humanature Photography was the best; he was so great about getting just the perfect shots. He truly captured the spirit of our ceremony. I couldn’t be more pleased with the pictures he took; they are gorgeous and will keep the memories of our incredible Valentine’s Day wedding fresh!
Our wedding was perfect, it was exactly the intimate affair we wanted, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing! All those details were taken care of for us. We will be forever thankful that we discovered “Tie the Knot in Kirkland” and to the whole team for making it so wonderful.
